Troubleshoot Continuous Ink Supply System Problems

1. Cause：Bubbles in Cartridge

Phenomena:
1. CISS has performed printing responsibility smoothly and normally, but now it cannot work miserably.
2. The printer will not respond to your print command until you haven’t cleaned it several times.
3. At the beginning, test lines has been printed properly; But later, disconnected lines have appeared .
4. Output only presents with one color, always black exclusively.
5. External cartridge remain in low place for so long time that ink line cannot receive the ink now.

Troubleshooting solution: All the abovementioned Phenomena are resulted from bubbles in cartridge. Because having CISS being used for a long time, small amount of bubbles from air as well as ink will be accumulated and foamed the ink. Delightedly, you just need to extract bubbles to free them from your ink to figure it out.

To be specific, you should remove CISS from your printer, and bear in mind that the printer cartridge must be placed on the same horizontal level with external cartridge instead of upside down.. on the other hand, you should insert plugs into bottom of each ink cartridge mouth if sealing plug has been installed previously.

2. Cause: Printer Remains Idle For Too Long

When you are to execute your printer once again after one month or a longer time, you will only find that it cannot work any more. And you will suffer from the following problems perhaps.

Phenomenon:
1. Bubbles have entered in that force of ink from ink pipeline entering into external ink cartridges is greater than the one of ink entering into internal printer cartridges if external cartridge ink print head has been below the horizontal level.
2. Rubber gasket of washing tank that is below the printer nozzle has been leaking if the print head has been back to its originally rightmost printer, thus causing ink dry or oxidation.
3. Ink, especially those from thin and transparent inking pipeline has been evaporated, dried or oxidized if your printer has been placed in a dry, hot, sunny environment.

Troubleshooting solution: Printer remains idle for too long so that you will depressed by the foregoing problems and troubles. In order to solve this problem, you should perform nozzle test to observe whether test line is intact or not if there is no need to use your printer for a long time. Furthermore, you had better print four-color or six-color color test chart for 10 consecutive times to ensure the normal effect with 360DPI print setting by default. Of course, it all depends on your individual printer brands.

3. Cause: Color Laser Failure

Phenomena:
1. Color document have been printed with black and white only.
2. Output document color has been faded or deteriorated to the opposite color terribly.

Troubleshooting solution: Check whether B & W ink that has being used is normal or print settings have been arranged in black mode mistakenly. Having done the above checks, you may need to perform nozzle check three times to see whether test lines have been disconnected or not. And, the first troubleshooting solution to free ink from bubbles should be resorted to reverse the situation positive. Worse still, four-color or six-color color picture chart must be tested and compared to test effect of the normal printer to confirm whether color has been assembled in right sequence.
